Zignature Pad

The 10ZiG Zignature Pad is a secure signature capable tablet, allowing for real-time electronic signatures.  The Zignature Pad with patented “Sign What You See” Technology is the first tablet to combine a digitally secure signature(s) into a portable PDF document. The output can then be archived using variable data taken from the document to name the file appropriately. The Zignature Pad support a scripting language (LUA, www.lua.org) which enables many complex tasks to be performed based on content found in the document.

There is no external signature device, no pasting of signatures to associated signature lines.  The end user is able to review the entire document and sees and signs exactly where each signature is required.

Data security is enhanced by the fact that no copy of the document nor the electronic signature is stored on the Zignature Pad. The clients signature is locked in to the secure PDF on the tablet itself, therefore the signature never leaves the pad unsecured. The biometric information captured during the signature is encrypted using public key encryption and locked into the same PDF.   The Zignature Pad is in full compliance with international E-signature laws as well as the US UETA Law.

When using the signature wizard the Zignature Pad has internal safeguards, restricting the ability to close out or execute the document if a signature or initial is missing. This is obviously very important for any type of legal document, especially one with several pages and signature lines. Signed documents are sealed with a digital certificate and tamper evident. An entire history of how long the client spent on each page and any modifications is recorded in the properties of the PDF. This feature can be very useful for legal reasons should the client say they didn’t know what they were signing, the PDF may show they spent little time reading the document, thus supporting the argument that the client clearly didn’t read the document through.

The Zignature Pad has a built in smart card reader for an additional layer of security and authentication. We are also able to support digital stamps, like for instance a notary stamp.

The Zignature Pad appears as a paperless printer, simply print your form to the pad in place of a regular printer and it will be displayed on the pad! After signature the document can go directly to the Archive server saving the costs of printing, scanning, filing or destroying, thus improving efficiency and saving money.
