Image Recovery: - Fixed issue with unhandled exceptions crashing the main server service. - Added a local GUI to PXE recovery image to allow performing recovery operations locally on the PXE-booted client. - Created a USB boot disk tool, which utilizes the same image as the PXE recovery system, for direct backup and restoration. - Updated PXE recovery image to resolve issues with "Filesystem Error" occurring when backing-up or restoring images with partitions created with Windows. - Updated PXE recovery image for SATA drive support. -------------------------------------- Version 2.0.1.0 - 2.0.1.4 General: - Fixed issue with Manager Server installer hanging when installing on Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 when launching configuration dialogs. - Resolved issue with server service failing to start in certain circumstances. - Added support for PXE booting of thin clients for recovery across VPN or other WAN connections. By configuring a 10ZiG XPe thin client with the latest XTC Agent to act as a relay for PXE packets on its network segment or subnet, other thin clients on that segment can be PXE-booted to recovery mode. - Updated help files. Console: - Added "Thin Client Jobs" pane to the "Thin clients" view to show task/job status and success. - Resolved sluggish console due to "Thin Client Jobs" history refreshing with better usage of bi-directional communications with the server. - Added an additional executable, "MgrConSettings.exe" to enable change console settings without actually launching the console GUI. - Added "Host" history to console settings to track to which servers the console has been connected. Linux: - Added support for the next version of the 10ZiG Linux thin client agent, called the LTC Agent. - Added configuration templates management interface. - GUI provides ability to directly edit configuration settings. - Ability to delete existing templates. - Ability to import and export templates. -------------------------------------- Version 2.0.0.9 General: - Rebuilt libraries to fix compatibility issue with 64-bit Windows. - Added time stamp information for discovered thin client entries to indicate the last time the client responded to a discovery attempt. - Updated Wake-On-LAN routine to send directed broadcast to appropriate subnet for powering-on devices across subnets. - Updated Multicast IP range specifications to require subnet masks as well as to facilitate directed broadcasting. - Added option to manager settings to enable/disable "Multicast" discovery. Disabling multicasting and using broadcast discovery on supported networks can boost discovery performance. NOTE: Directed broadcasting requires routers or bridges between connected subnets to support forwarding broadcast packets to the appropriate subnet's broadcast address. Configure the appropriate network device to forward broadcasts on UDP port 52500 to support 10ZiG Manager directed broadcasts. Console: - Added column to thin client view to display the time a client last responded to discovery. - Added last response field to thin client reporting options. - Updated "Image recovery" view to show progress bar for imaging task status. - Fixed issue with GUI hanging during concurrent discovery and console refresh operations.
