The 10ZiG OS Family offers four Operating System options
The 10ZiG OS Family offers four Operating System options, three for our range of Thin & Zero Clients and one repurposing software used for 3rd party Thin Clients, Laptops, and PCs. All four are centrally managed via the 10ZiG Management Console (10ZiG Manager™) which is a license-free, no-subscription management platform, offering cloud-connected devices (with a 10ZiG OS) managed in a very user-friendly and secure interface.
NOS™ is a VDI/DaaS-specific, Linux-based OS designed for a single connection to either a Omnissa (formerly VMware), Citrix, or Microsoft (AVD/W365/RDP) environment. This optimized OS is perfect for those looking to do 100% VDI or 100% DaaS with a single broker. This purpose-built and highly secure offering allows for very fast and easy configuration to a VDI/DaaS environment and requires minimal ongoing management and upkeep achieved by limiting the number of connections to only one. NOS™ can be used in conjunction with a variety of redirection and optimization packages, as well as addons which offer additional capability from other alliance partners in our eco system such as Unified Communication, DEX, and Security agents. All of this is deployable, configurable, and managed via the FREE 10ZiG Manager. NOS™ is also firmware-interchangeable either between the three connection/environments mentioned, or with our multiple-connection and browser-capable alternative, PeakOS™.

PeakOS™ is a Linux-based Thin Client OS designed for a use case where multiple connection brokers are required and/or use of a local web browser. The connection brokers can include, but are not limited to, Omnissa (formerly VMware), Citrix, AVD/W365, RDP, HP Anyware, Chrome, Firefox, and more. PeakOS™ is also a purpose-built and highly secure offering but, includes additional flexibility in an environment not tied to only one VDI or DaaS connection, or where there is the need to configure multiple sessions. PeakOS™ can also be used in conjunction with a variety of redirection and optimization packages, as well as addons, which offer additional capability from other alliance partners in our ecosystem such as Unified Communication, DEX and Security agents. PeakOS™ offers convenient usability features, including configurable Desktop Modality, NOSTM Launcher, as well as Kiosk modality. This flexibility allows the operating system to be deployed in a variety of different scenarios for connecting to remote workspaces. All of this is deployable, configurable and managed via the FREE 10ZiG Manager. PeakOS™ is also firmware-interchangeable with NOS™ and a great and flexible OS to consider when in-between VDI/DaaS products, as well as when requiring Web/SaaS Remote Apps either exclusively or alongside VDI/DaaS.

Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 & Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 are based on Windows IoT Enterprise LTSC (Long-Term Servicing Channel). They feature a significantly smaller footprint than their regular Professional or Enterprise versions. They are based on a CPU silicon placemat, which offer cost effective licensing when used on Thin Client endpoints. They offer up to 10 years of support via Microsoft. They are designed for a VDI, DaaS, Remote App, Web App, SaaS use case where there might be additional requirement for local drivers, locally installed applications, or Windows-specific peripherals or applications to be used. Windows is also the ideal alternative for a non-streamline VDI connection, where perhaps a Linux client could lack in features or support, or for third-party tools or addons that do not have a Linux offering. The IoT platform includes numerous lockdown and security features, such as Shell Launcher, Multi-App Kiosk Mode and UWF (Unified Write Filter). This enables it to be configured and used almost as a Zero Client in a single sign-on type scenario, masking the local OS completely, and delivering a feature-rich and tamper-proof user experience without sacrifice. The IoT LTSC platform is deployable, configurable and managed via the FREE 10ZiG Manager, as well as offering integration with Intune/MEM (Microsoft Endpoint Management) and other popular Microsoft tools for those looking to remain on an MS type platform. The LTSC platform with expanded storage options provides the ultimate future proofing and ability to adapt and mold in a forever changing desktop environment.
