Over the course of four months, the hospital had deployed 6,420 x 10ZiG 7048qo Zero Clients specifically developed for the Omnissa platform. Presenting on boot to a secure Imprivata log-in portal, they provided purpose built, highly secure, and energy-efficient endpoints supporting Blast Extreme and Microsoft Teams optimization for impressive performance, high-quality voice and video performance. The hospital also extended the life of 1,380 existing Windows 10 PCs, using RepurpOS, converting them into secure, dedicated Omnissa Ready Linux endpoints, providing the exact same user experience as the native 10ZiG hardware. This avoided unnecessary e-waste and maximized prior investment. These endpoints are due for replacement in eighteen months, when they will be swapped out for 10ZiG Zero Clients to continue the standardized, sustainable endpoint strategy now in place.
