COMPUTEX 2026: Why Taipei Remains the Heartbeat of the Global Technology Supply Chain

Another year, another incredible week in Taipei.

As the dust settles on COMPUTEX 2026, one thing is abundantly clear: the event continues to cement its position as one of the most important technology gatherings in the world. This year’s show brought together more than 1,500 exhibitors across approximately 6,000 booths and attracted over 111,000 visitors from around the globe, making it one of the largest and busiest editions in the event’s history.

For 10ZiG COMPUTEX is far more than a technology exhibition. It is a critical opportunity to strengthen relationships with existing suppliers, evaluate new technologies, meet potential partners, and gain first-hand insight into the trends that will shape our products and supply chain over the coming years.

AI Was Everywhere

If there was a single theme that dominated COMPUTEX 2026, it was undoubtedly Artificial Intelligence.

From NVIDIA’s vision for AI infrastructure and AI PCs to new developments in edge computing, robotics, memory technologies, and intelligent manufacturing, AI was no longer simply a buzzword—it was the foundation of nearly every conversation taking place across the show floor. COMPUTEX itself adopted the theme “AI Together,” reflecting how deeply AI has become embedded throughout the technology ecosystem.

Walking through the halls, it became increasingly evident that Taiwan’s role in the global AI revolution extends far beyond semiconductor manufacturing. The country has evolved into a complete AI ecosystem encompassing silicon design, memory, storage, networking, server manufacturing, system integration, and intelligent infrastructure.

The excitement surrounding AI was matched only by the scale of investment being discussed. NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang described Taiwan as the epicentre of the AI revolution and highlighted the company’s enormous ongoing investment into Taiwan’s supply chain and partner ecosystem.

What AI Means for 10ZiG’s Supply Chain

While much of the industry attention is focused on AI servers and data centres, there are important downstream effects that impact EUC, specifically where 10ZiG operate.

The rapid growth of AI infrastructure continues to place significant pressure on semiconductor, memory, and storage supply chains. Industry groups have warned that demand for AI systems is consuming increasing amounts of DRAM and NAND production capacity, contributing to supply constraints and pricing volatility across broader markets.

For organizations like 10ZiG, this reinforces the importance of maintaining strong supplier relationships and diversifying sourcing strategies. Whether discussing memory availability, SSD supply, processor roadmaps, or future embedded technologies, COMPUTEX provides invaluable face-to-face access to the partners that help us navigate an increasingly complex global supply chain.

The event also highlighted ongoing concerns around manufacturing capacity, availability, and infrastructure demands as AI adoption accelerates worldwide. These factors will continue to influence component availability and pricing throughout the technology sector as we move forwards.

Navigating “RAMageddon”

One of the recurring themes throughout our meetings was the continued challenge surrounding memory markets.

The industry has experienced significant disruption as memory manufacturers increasingly prioritize AI-related products and high-bandwidth memory (HBM) technologies. This shift has had ripple effects throughout traditional DRAM and NAND markets, creating uncertainty around pricing, availability, and long-term supply planning.

For 10ZiG, events like COMPUTEX are invaluable in helping us stay ahead of these trends. By meeting directly with memory vendors, storage manufacturers, and strategic partners, we can better understand market direction, secure supply continuity, and ensure that our customers continue to receive reliable solutions despite ongoing market fluctuations.

In many ways, there is simply no substitute for having these conversations in person.

Celebrating Our Partnership with Transcend

This year’s visit carried additional significance following 10ZiG’s recent partner recognition from Transcend.

We were incredibly proud to receive this award. Long-term partnerships such as these are essential to our success and reflect the collaborative relationships that underpin the technology industry.

As supply chains become increasingly strategic, trusted partnerships become even more valuable. The opportunity to meet face-to-face, discuss future roadmaps, and explore new opportunities for collaboration remains one of the greatest benefits of attending COMPUTEX.

Looking Ahead

Beyond the product announcements and technology demonstrations, COMPUTEX 2026 reinforced something that has always made the event special: relationships matter.

The show continues to serve as a unique meeting point for component manufacturers, system builders, software providers, distributors, and technology innovators from around the world. For 10ZiG, it remains one of the most important opportunities of the year to connect with the partners who help us deliver innovative endpoint computing solutions to customers globally.

The energy throughout Taipei this year was exceptional. The exhibition halls were packed, the meetings were productive, and the optimism surrounding the future of technology was impossible to miss.

We would like to thank all of our suppliers, partners, customers, and friends who took the time to meet with us during the week.

Congratulations to the organizers on another outstanding event, and we look forward to returning to Taipei for COMPUTEX 2027.
